Previous Staff Tihomir Hristov

I am an Infotech Level II full-time employee for the Computer Science Department. I am also a part of the Masters Program of the Computer Science Department. I am originally from Bulgaria, and I came to the States in August 2006. Then I started at Norfolk State University, and after one semester there, I transferred to Old Dominion University. I started working for the Systems Group at the beginning of January. I am administrating our Unix, Windows, and Networking environments. Besides that I also handle our database servers: Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL. I manage our high performance computing cluster environment which includes hpcu, hpcq, and hpcd clusters. I handle our parallel computing machines which inludes our ScaleMP production for OpenMP and OpenMPI application. Currently I am implementing a private cloud for the Computer Science Department.
