CS Accounts
CS Account vs MIDAS Account
Your CS Account is separate from your ODU MIDAS Account. When logging into any CS Resources, be sure to use your CS Account credentials. Your CS username is cs_
What Your CS Account Is For
When you sign up for a Computer Science class at ODU, you become eligible for a CS Account. Your CS Account allows you access to the computing resources offered by the department, such as our Linux Servers, Desktops and Virtual Desktops, and VPN. Some CS classes require you to log into their course pages with your CS Account, and may also require use of services that require a CS Account.
New Accounts
After registering for at least one CS Course, you become eligible for a CS Account. If you are a new CS Student, you will need to set a password for your CS account. This process will set up your account and link it to your MIDAS account to allow you to reset your password in the future.
Remember that your MIDAS and CS accounts are separate!
