What Your Account Is For

When you create a CS Department account, or if one was created for you, you will have an account that is allowed to be used on Lab Computers , VCPortal , Linux Servers and CS course related materials/assignments.
Your username and password will be the same for Windows services as well as the Linux services.

Using Accounts Webpage

After registering for at least one CS Course, A CS account will be created for you. If you are a new CS Student, you will need to set a password for your CS account.

Remember that your MIDAS and CS accounts are separate, but your MIDAS account can be used to reset your CS password

1. Visit our Accounts Webpage

2. Select the ODU MIDAS button, and sign in with your ODU MIDAS account

3. You will be prompted to set a CS Password. Once you set one, you will be redirected to your profile page where you can view your CS username.
