Question: How do I connect to the VPN?
Answer: Heres a link to our VPN documentation make sure you configuration matches exactly and to download the Forticlient VPN only. VPN Documentation

Question: How do I reset my password?
Answer: Please visit Password reset , where you can enter either your CS username or your ODU email.

Question: How do I connect to a printer?
Answer: Type printer in the Windows search bar and an option(Printers & scanners) should pop up. Once clicked there is a list of printers, click on the one you are closest too/one you should be using. If you get access denied email root@cs.odu.edu with your details.

Question: How do I reserve ECS 3316?
Answer: To reserve a room for your meeting, please follow these steps in Outlook: Open Outlook and click on the "Calendar" tab. Click on the "New Event" button. Enter the meeting subject and start/end times. Go down to "search for a room or location Search for the conference room by typing "ECS" Select the "Computer Science ECS Room 3316" from drop down The room will be added to the meeting invitation. Click "Send" to send the meeting invitation. You will see the availability of the room for the date and time you have selected.

Question: Cant login to assignments for class.
Answer: Verify if you can log in too the VPN if you can please email your professor for access.

Question: How do I install software?
Answer: You first can check Software Center to see if your software is availble for download. If you need something else please email us with your professor CC'd for their approval.

Question: How do I get door access?
Answer: PLease email us with your UIN and with your professor CC'd for their approval.

Question: Is my MIDAS username and password the same as my CS username?
Answer: No, to access any CS related sever, service, or computer use your CS username and password.

Question: Do I have a CS email?
Answer: No the email associated with your CS account is your ODU email unless you are a professor.
