Conference Room Meeting System Instructions
Switching Modes
To switch to Conference mode:
- On the interactive display, open the popout menu
- Open the settings menu
- Select HDMI1
To switch to Interactive Mode:
- On the interactive display, open the popout menu
- Open the settings menu
- Select Home
Using Conference Mode
Switch to conference mode and use the Tap tablet.
To start a Teams call:
- On the Tap tablet, select "Meet Now"
- Enter an email or phone number
To join a Teams call:
- On the Tap tablet, select "Join with an ID"
- Enter the Teams meeting ID
To join a Zoom call:
- On the Tap tablet, select "Join with an ID"
- Under meeting provider, select Zoom
- Enter the Zoom meeting ID and passcode
Note: Zoom meetings must be started from another device
Screen Sharing
To wirelessly share a device's screen to the conference display:
- On the Tap tablet, select the share button
- On your device, open the Teams application
- In the Teams menu, select "Cast". You may need to open the overflow menu
To share a device's screen to the conference display via HDMI:
- On the Tap tablet, select the share button
- Plug the device into the HDMI cable attached to the Tap tablet
Note: After disconnecting an HDMI device, please wait at least 30 seconds before reconnecting
Adjusting Volume
In Interactive Mode:
- On the interactive display, open the popout menu
- Open the settings menu
- Use the volume slider to adjust volume
In Conference Mode:
- On the Tap tablet, select "More"
- Use the volume buttons at the bottom of the screen
2nd Display
The display on the south wall of the conference room is connected to a surround sound system and is independent of the Conference display.
To adjust room volume:
- Use the volume knob on the receiver located in the media cabinet at the northeast corner of the room
- Some adjustment is possible via the slider on the display
To mirror sharing from the conference display:
- On the interactive display, open the popout menu
- Open the settings menu
- Select HDMI2
