About me

Hey I'm Kobe, working at Systems since fall semester 2023 and took a System Administrator position since summer 2024. I'm a graduate student currently taking my Masters in Computer Science.

Systems Accomplishments

  • set up and maintain(ed) the discord bot (ranni)
  • organized and redesigned internal ansible structure
  • redesigned the wiki (this site)
  • revamped syshome (v2, idk what v we on now)
  • Contributor to RelayPoint (content on tvs across CS ODU buildings)
  • ipam and uptime monitoring (checkout status.cs )
  • kubernetes fleet captain
  • Victoria metrics logging and s3 backup
  • OpenHouse, forms website you can use to apply apply.cs
  • Git Pipelines
  • GPPortal, to download Global Protect vpn.cs
  • Snipe-IT inventory management

Fun Fact

I'm from Belgium, Europe but have lived in France and with that have learnt French, Flemish (Dutch), English and ~German.

Homelab

My homelab is constantly growing but current is composed of: - 3 kubernetes nodes - jellyfin and media stack - vllm - ceph using RookFS - Gitea

with an addition of small services like coredns, keycloak, victoria metrics, etc
