Kherry Zamore
I joined the Systems Group in 2001 as a consultant. In March, 2002, I became a Systems Administrator for the group. Shortly after, in April of 2003 I was hired fulltime by Old Dominion and my official position became Systems Engineer. My duties include managing the IT operations of the department, deploying new technologies in a timely fashion, administrating the 500+ computer network, and providing advanced support for faculty, staff, and students. Before joining the Systems Group, I was an Independent Consultant for Z Associates. I specialized in network security and system upgrades for K-12 school systems, webhosting companies, and internet service providers. I have also been active in several Open Source projects including FreeBSD, XFree86, Gaim, and AtheOS/Syllable.
