ODU students have access to a variety of free Microsoft software items through Microsoft Azure. This includes license keys for software such as:
- Windows 10 Education Edition
- Visual Studio Enterprise 2019
- Visio Professional 2019
- Windows Server 2016
- SQL Server 2019 Developer Edition
And much more.
Accessing Azure Portal software
- Navigate to https://portal.azure.com and log in with your ODU/ MIDAS email. You will be taken to the ODU Idea Fusion and prompted for your credentials.

- Type "education" into the search bar at the top and select the menu item with the same name
- In the left sidebar, select the menu item labeled "Software"
- You should now see a list of Microsoft software. Clicking one will bring up a brief description as well as a button to show the product key
