ODU students have access to a variety of free Microsoft software items through Microsoft Azure. This includes license keys for software such as:

  • Windows 10 Education Edition
  • Visual Studio Enterprise 2019
  • Visio Professional 2019
  • Windows Server 2016
  • SQL Server 2019 Developer Edition

And much more.

Accessing Azure Portal software

  1. Navigate to https://portal.azure.com and log in with your ODU/ MIDAS email. You will be taken to the ODU Idea Fusion and prompted for your credentials.

  2. Type "education" into the search bar at the top and select the menu item with the same name

  3. In the left sidebar, select the menu item labeled "Software"

  4. You should now see a list of Microsoft software. Clicking one will bring up a brief description as well as a button to show the product key
